The Owen Sound Celtic Society has received some federal funding.
Bruce Grey Owen Sound MP Larry Miller says the Society has been approved for a $15,000 grant from Heritage Canada
The society is hosting the 10th annual Owen Sound Celtic Festival on September 19th and 20th which Miller says this funding will help organizers put on a wonderful event.
Miller says the funding is great news as the festival has always been a great event for the city.
The 10th Annual Owen Sound Celtic Festival will feature musical and dance performances, artisans displaying their crafts, traditional Celtic food, an all-day street party, clan tents, and workshops throughout the downtown area.
