Mayor Howard Greig says the township is now prohibiting minors from attending buck and does.
He says minors will not be allowed at functions serving alcohol with the exception of weddings, anniversaries or family reunions.
Greig says the township will also be stepping up security.
He says police officers must be hired for stag and does, video dances and for any other functions using the arena floor where alcohol is being served.
The township has also banned two Meaford residents for one year from municipal property after a recent incident at a stag and doe in Chatsworth.
The two men ended up fighting with several people during the celebration at the community centre.
Three people had to be taken to hospital while others were treated at the scene.
Greig says council will not tolerate any behaviour such as this.
