Police believe they have a suspect in custody who was involved in that van chase in Owen Sound last week.
Owen Sound police Inspector Steve MacKinnon says they’re in the process of obtaining the proper paperwork to have 32 year old Terry Stome of no fixed address returned to their custody from O-p-p in Listowel.
Strome is looking at several charges including flight from police, dangerous driving and driving while disqualified.
An Owen Sound police officer was forced to shoot at the van as it tried to allude officers last Wednesday in the east end of town after officers witnessed what they called possible drug related activities.
