Officials and staff at Owen Sounds Billy Bishop Heritage Museum are finally going to find out why things go bump in the middle of the night.
A group of paranormal experts are going to camp out in the Museum overnight at the end of the Month to find out if in fact the home of the World War 1 flying ace and Victoria Cross Winner could be haunted.
Manager Mary Smith says there have been numerous reports of unusual occurrences at the Museum over the past few years.
She says some people claim to have seen an old woman out of the corner of their eye, and when they turn around she is gone.
Another man visiting the museum says he saw a little girl in the dining room in a Victorian era dress and then when he looked again, she was gone.
Smith says there also have been times when doors opened or closed by themselves, items moved from one location to another overnight and lights were turned on and off late at night when no one was suppose to be in the museum.
The group, Jeffs Paranormal from Barrie will set up shop in the Museum overnight May 31st with their electronic equipment to try and detect any evidence of paranormal activity.
Smith says if this initial investigation reveals some spooky activity then more a more intensive investigation into the occurrences will take place.
