The former Chesley Public School site has been sold.
The Bluewater District School Board sold the property for 166 thousand dollars.
The site was not a suitable location for a future school.
The school closed in 2003 and had about 180 students enrolled — the students now attend Kinghurst Community School in Chesley.
The board also sold off 5 lots that the school board owned in Tower Park to Barry Construction.
Its expected the proceeds of the sale will be used to address the school boards accommodation needs.
