A 24 year old man has been sentenced to jail after being found guilty of stabbing a man in Owen Sound.
Julius Espinosa of Toronto was recently sentenced to 12 months in prison and 3 years probation as well as a lifetime weapons ban.
A jury found Espinosa guilty of aggravated assault and assault with a weapon earlier this year.
The charges stem from an incident in September 2006 where an Owen Sound man suffered life threatening injuries.
Espinosa claimed self defence in the fight.
