Kieffer says their architect will now be working with the construction company to get the required the permits, insurance, bonds, and health and safety documentation.
She says once that has been dealt with crews will be bringing in equipment and work should get underway sometime in late June or early July.
Kieffer says the new fully-accessible addition will include several multi-use space, a meeting room, and a billiard room.
She says the current fitness centre will be moved to the new addition.
Included the budget is 1 million dollars from the Ontario government through a Rural Infrastructure Investment Initiative grant.
Kieffer says construction is expected to take about 7 to 8 months to complete.
