It turned out to be not an ordinary day for an Owen Sound women.
Rosemary Shupe was heading into work at the Owen Sound Hospital on Wednesday February 27th and bought her morning coffee as usual at Tim Horton’s.
Shupe rolled up the rim on her coffee to reveal that she did not win a coffee or a donut but won a new Toyota 2009 Matrix.
Shupe says when she first rolled up the rim she didn’t believe she won until one of her co-workers reassured her she did win.
Shupe was presented with her new car today (MON) outside the Owen Sound hospital.
Shupe for the past 9 years has been a medical transcriptionist at the hospital and has always bought a coffee during her shift.
Shupe says she has never won anything this big in her life.
Shupe says at this point she is not sure if she will keep the car.
Shupe is just 1 of 35 winners across Canada to win the a new Toyota 2009 Matrix.
