Everyone is fine following an evacuation at the Elgin Lodge on Mary Street in Port Elgin.
Saugeen Shores police chief Dan Rivett tells Beach News the residents though, will not be returning to the lodge until at least tomorrow sometime.
He says about 36 of the residents will spend the night at the CAW Family Conference Centre in Port Elgin.
The remainder of the 91 residents have found accommodation with family or friends.
The lodge was evacuated this morning after someone detected the smell of natural gas.
The residents were moved immediately to the Northport Public School, next door to the lodge before being moved to the conference centre or picked up by friends or family.
Rivett says two people were taken to hospital complaining of nausea but have since been released.
Contractors involved in the recent new build at Elgin Lodge are on the scene, trying to determine if there was a problem.
Rivett says hopefully everyone will be back in their own beds tomorrow night.
