Highlighting green in more ways than one at the Kincardine Home and Garden Show.
The 2008 edition is set to go this weekend at the Davidson Centre starting tonight and this year’s theme is “Environmentally Great in 2008.”
The Home and Garden Show is being presented by the Kincardine Skating Club and is the benefactor of the money raised at the event.
Organizer Cheryl Jedemann appeared on Soundingboard earlier this week and says there will be around 100 vendors at the Home and Garden Show.
She says they have sold out all the spots available for this weekend’s event.
Jedemann says there are a number of new vendors at this year’s show.
She says everyone is encouraged to come out and meet some of the people and ask questions about gardening or anything around the home.
Jedemann says the volunteers from the Kincardine Skating Club help put it together and they really enjoy doing it every year.
She says there will also be a silent auction, seminars, a kids craft corner, and lots of door prizes.
The Kincardine Home and Garden Show runs tonight from 5 until 9 P.M., tomorrow from 10 A.M. until 6 P.M., and Sunday from Noon until 5 P.M..
Admission is 4 dollars for adults, 3 dollars for students and seniors, and children under 12 are free.
