The provincial government has announced details on wait time funding for Grey Bruce hospitals this year. Grey Bruce Health Services will receive 2.94 million dollars. The Kincardine hospital will receive just over 58 thousand dollars. The Collingwood G amd M hospital will get just over 500 thousand dollars. The hospital organizations had planned on receiving money to improve wait times — officials just didn’t know how much they would get. Huron Bruce MPP Carol Mitchell says the funding will lower wait times for tests like MRI’s and CT scans — and allow for more surgeries and beds.
