David Bowie’s life is about to be told on the big screen in the form of a new documentary from Brett Morgen.
Brett does some great work when it comes to documenting musicians who became cultural icons – he also directed Kurt Cobain’s “Montage of Heck” that was released in 2015.
For this project, Brett worked through thousands of hours of Bowie archival footage to create the film.
It’s the first movie project to have the full support of the Bowie family, something sadly that wasn’t granted to the 2020 flop, Stardust, which didn’t even feature Bowie’s music.
Here’s the new trailer for Moonage Daydream:
Moonage Daydream opens September 16th in theatres and IMAX.
