Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound incumbent Conservative MP Alex Ruff has won re-election.
Ruff says that he was gratified by the results and humbled by the show of support he received which makes him eager to continue to serve the riding.
On the federal scene, the Liberal minority was disappointing to Ruff and his supporters.
The tiny swing in votes from 2019 made Ruff wonder aloud what the point of this election was.
Ruff says the Conservative Party will strategize on a national level, while locally he’s primed to return to his working space and service his constituents.
This is the second time Ruff is taking office after winning the 2019 election.
