The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported nine new Covid cases and 13 resolved ones on Monday.
According to Public Health, four people from Owen Sound, two folks from Grey Highlands, and residents of South Bruce Peninsula, Saugeen First Nation and Southgate tested positive.
The region’s active known case load fell to 107. Six Grey Bruce residents are hospitalized locally and one other is receiving care outside the area.
More than 211,000 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the region to date.
Today, there are drop-in vaccination clinics running from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Owen Sound District Secondary School in Owen Sound and the P & H Centre in Hanover. A pop-up clinic is also scheduled for 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Flesherton Kinplex, while shots will also be available at the Blue Mountains Community Health Centre in Thornbury from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Seventeen Grey Bruce residents have died from the virus over the course of the pandemic.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Monday are reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
