You may notice an increased amount of military vehicles on roads in the Meaford area over the next 10 days.
The Department of National Defence advises soldiers of the 1st Battalion, The Royal Canadian Regiment, will be conducting a training exercise at the Canadian Forces Training Centre in Meaford.
A convoy of both armoured and logistic vehicles will be moving to the Meaford Training Centre on Sept. 8 and returning home to Garrison Petawawa on Sept. 18.
DND advises these convoys can be slow moving and cause distractions to drivers and onlookers.
