The location of outdoor vendors at the Owen Sound Farmer's Market is moving for the construction season with work underway on the Downtown River Precinct Project.
City staff say while indoor vendors at the Farmer's Market will remain in the building, those outdoor will be moved to 1st Avenue East — south of 8th Street — during the River Precinct Project.
Starting today, 1st Avenue East will close to through traffic from 7th Street to 8th Street to accommodate the outdoor vendors.
Parking will be available in Muncipal Lot 8 for those attending the Farmer's Market.
City staff say the road closure will take place each Saturday from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. until the completion of construction.
