Bruce County is holding a household hazardous waste collection event in Walkerton this month.
On Sept. 20, residents are invited to attend the Bruce County Transportation Yard from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. to dispose of their waste.
Some of the items attendees can dispose of include paints and stains, propane tanks, used oil, batteries, solvents, and more.
Commercial, agricultural and industrial waste will not be accepted as well as PCB’s, ammunitions and flares.
