The Township of Georgian Bluffs is hosting a day of fun to usher in the summer season.
The new Longest Day of Play event will be held at the Sarawak Family Park on June 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. where a variety of activities will be offered for all ages.
Some of the activities include inflatable games, family activities, paddleboard lessons, balloon twisting, live music, and more. There will also be a special appearance by Petunia the Clown and Big Bay’s Paddy Wagon.
The free paddleboard lessons will be offered throughout the day and are limited to eight people per group with courses for kids, youth, beginner, advanced, and open drop-in.
Participants are encouraged to bring swimwear, a towel, sun protection, and a change of clothes.
While on-site parking at the park will not be available, there will be a free shuttle service. Pickups will be at the Keppel-Sarawak School at the top of each hour and at Indian Falls at the bottom of each hour. There will be regular return trips running until 3 p.m.
More details about the event can be found on the township website here.
