The Town of Hanover is taking this month to support volunteer events.
The town will be holding a Volunteer Fair on June 17th, aimed at bringing a diverse group of organizations together for anyone looking for opportunities to volunteer their time.
It’s happening at the P&H Centre from 4-7 pm and is a partnership with the Hanover Public Library.
The event will be in a traditional trade show format, featuring local non-profits, service clubs, cultural groups, and public-serving organizations highlighting volunteer opportunities.
The Volunteer Fair is a free event.
The town will also be celebrating Volunteer Appreciation Day on June 28th from 11 am to 1 pm.
Volunteers are encouraged to wear their organization’s apparel, such as a t-shirt or hat.
Music in the Square will feature live local entertainment in Heritage Square on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month from June to August, from 11 am-1 pm.
