South Bruce OPP say one person is in custody following a large police presence in Chesley.
On June 7 around 3 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance call at an address on 1st Avenue North.
Police say officers arrived on the scene where a person had barricaded themselves inside a home.
In response, police established a perimeter to cordon off the area for public safety.
Then early this morning at 1 a.m., the individual was placed under arrest without incident.
As a result, the accused has been charged with two counts of uttering threats of cause death or bodily harm, mischief in destroying and damaging property, and failing to comply with a probation order.
The accused has been placed into custody pending a bail hearing.
Police have since cleared the scene and say there was no threat to public safety.
