The Township of Georgian Bluffs is appointing an Interim CAO.
Brittany Drury is assuming the role after former CAO Niall Lobley left to accept the Deputy CAO position with Grey County.
The township says Drury comes to the role with over nine years of experience in senior leadership in Georgian Bluffs. She most recently served as Deputy CAO and Director of Corporate Services.
During her time with Georgian Bluffs, Drury had played a key role in developing and delivering strategic initiatives in legislative services, finance, human resources, emergency management, and communications.
She also served as Interim CAO from 2021 to early 2022.
Mayor Sue Carleton says they are pleased to welcome Drury into the Interim CAO role.
“Her knowledge of the organization, collaborative leadership style, and deep understanding of our community will ensure a smooth transition as we move forward,” says Carleton.
Council has begun the recruitment process for a permanent CAO and is accepting applications until June 15.
