Remembrance Day ceremonies are planned throughout Bruce and Grey counties today.
In Owen Sound, a parade will begin at the downtown Royal Bank at 10:30 a.m. and make its way to the Cenotaph on 1st Avenue West for a service at 11 a.m.
In Saugeen Shores, there are parades and ceremonies planned at Cenotaphs in Port Elgin and in Southampton.
There are also services at Cenotaphs in Chatsworth, Tara, Paisley, Chesley, Hepworth, Wiarton, Kincardine, Dundalk, Hanover, Meaford & Walkerton, as well as several locations in Grey Highlands including Markdale and Flesherton.
You’ll also find many government offices and some businesses will be closed today for Remembrance Day.
