South Bruce OPP say their marine unit responded to the mouth of the Saugeen River in Southampton today.
They say a vessel lost power and was taking on water.
OPP posted on social media saying, ” Thanks to a civilian boat for towing in the vessel. No injuries were reported.”
They say the vessel was also inspected by OPP, and add, “A reminder to boaters to have a fully charged phone, safety equipment, and lifejackets. The only lifejacket that will save your life is the one you’re wearing.”
