The next Household Hazardous Waste event will be happening in Lion’s Head on Saturday.
Bruce County is again inviting residents to get rid of their hazardous waste in a responsible manner.
On Saturday, June 22nd, the Eastnor Landfill Site at 1252 West Road in Lion’s Head will be accepting household hazardous waste from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m.
Items such as propane tanks, used oil, batteries, antifreeze, fluorescent lights, pharmaceuticals, and pool chemicals are all being accepted.
Commercial, agricultural, and industrial waste will not be accepted.
