There’s a new licensed childcare centre in Port Elgin.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held this week to mark the opening of Little Cubs Learning Centre on Goderich Street, which adds more than 100 licensed childcare spaces for toddlers, preschool and kindergarten kids.
“This new childcare program expands licensed child care options for families in Saugeen Shores and provides early years programs and services that help build a foundation for all future learning, behavior, and health,” says Saugeen Shores Mayor Luke Charbonneau in a statement. “Expanded access to licensed, quality child care services will also positively impact our local economy, encourage workforce participation, and reduce poverty for low-income families. We are excited to have this new licensed child care facility to support the young families of our growing community.”
