Owen Sound police have charged a man with manslaughter in relation to an overdose death.
Police say on March 5th, they responded to a 911 call for medical help in relation to a drug overdose at an apartment on the lower west side of the city.
A 37 year old Owen Sound man was transported to the hospital but was pronounced dead.
Their Criminal Investigations Branch has charged a 27 year old Grey County man with trafficking in fentanyl and manslaughter.
Police say the accused (whom they did not name) was remanded into custody with his next court appearance later this month.
