Les Shane and team of 3rd Pete Newton, 2nd Derek Regier, lead Jim Roberts, and 5th Tim Church are the 2023-24 BrokerLink Insurance Grey/Bruce Major Curling league champions.
The championship final saw Les Shane (Ainsdale Golf Course) from the Kincardine C.C. steal 1 in the 8th end for a dramatic victory over the league dominating, Joe Rettinger from the Walkerton C.C. by a score of 8 to 7.
This is Shane and his team’s first championship title.
Congratulations to the Shane team.
