No one was injured in a garage fire this morning in Hepworth.
South Bruce Peninsula Fire Chief Tim Wilson says firefighters from both stations responded to a detached garage along Spring Creek Road shortly before 9 a.m.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation and there is no damage estimate. The fire is not considered suspicious.
Wilson says the garage will be a total loss.
While he was not able to say how many firefighters responded to the blaze, he says they requested aid from the Inter Township Fire Department.
Wilson says firefighters remain on the scene extinguishing hotspots.
“The road is temporarily closed in that area for some work to be done,” says Wilson.
