South Bruce OPP have charged a Kincardine woman with assault after responding to a disturbance call.
Police say on Sunday, at about noon, OPP and paramedics were called to the 300 block of Queen Street in Kincardine.
They say they arrived to find an individual had been injured with what police describe as an “edged weapon.”
A 41 year old Kincardine woman was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, and two counts of failing to comply with probation.
OPP say the accused remains in custody pending the results of a show cause hearing.
