Saugeen First Nation is letting everyone know that Sauble Park is closed to the public.
Sauble Park starts from Main Street in Sauble Beach and extends to French Bay Road.
In a community notice on their website, Saugeen First Nation says that both because of COVID, and due to seasonal erosion concerns, they’re keeping South Sauble Beach closed to visitors.
There is also a ban on motorized vehicles on the beach.
The beach is still accessible for Saugeen Ojibway Nation members who have cottage leases, and drop-off at the entrances is still allowed.
