The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported zero new Covid cases and five resolved ones on Tuesday.
The region’s active known case load fell to 28. Hospitalizations are similar to recent days with three Grey Bruce residents admitted for care locally and one other being treated outside the region.
The Grey Bruce Health Unit does not provide specific data in its daily Covid disclosure about whether new cases and hospitalizations are among unvaccinated people, which the provincial government started doing recently.
More than 223,200 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the region to date.
Twenty-one Grey Bruce residents have died from the virus over the course of the pandemic.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Tuesday are reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Monday.
