The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported two new Covid cases and 23 resolved ones on Tuesday.
According to Public Health, residents of Owen Sound and Grey Highlands tested positive.
The region’s active known case load fell sharply to 85. Six Grey Bruce residents are hospitalized locally and two others are receiving care outside the area.
More than 212,000 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the region to date.
Today, there are drop-in vaccination clinics running from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine and the P & H Centre in Hanover. There are also drop-in/drive-in clinics from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The Plex in Port Elgin and in Ripley at the community centre. You can also receive a shot at the Blue Mountains Community Health Centre in Thornbury from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The health unit also disclosed another Covid-related death. Eighteen Grey Bruce residents have now died from the virus over the course of the pandemic.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Tuesday are reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Monday.
