The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported 15 new Covid cases and 16 resolved ones on Thursday.
According to Public Health, five people from Owen Sound, three from Chatsworth, two from each of Grey Highlands, Saugeen First Nation and Meaford, and a Hanover resident tested positive.
The region’s active known case load fell slightly to 146. Six Grey Bruce residents are hospitalized locally and one other is receiving care outside the area.
More than 208,000 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the region to date.
The health unit also disclosed another Covid-related death. Seventeen Grey Bruce residents have died from the virus over the course of the pandemic.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Thursday are reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Wednesday.
