The Residential Hospice Grey Bruce has a new Executive Director.
Janet Fairbridge has been appointed to the position effective May 25th.
Fairbridge replaces Alex Hector, who will be assuming the Executive Director role with the South East Grey Community Health Centre.
Board Chair Paul Rowcliffe says in a statement, “Janet’s previous role was the Foundation Director for Hospice Georgian Triangle supporting Campbell House in Collingwood managing the staff of the foundation and achieving significance success in surpassing the objectives of the foundation. Janet has been a quest speaker for the Blackbaud International Conference, Association of Fundraising Professionals, HPCO, 100 Women Who Care Southern Georgian Bay, and many more. She has worked in media for many years including associate producer for CBC Sports and Supervisor of Associate Directors at CBC Toronto Television Production Centre and has a deep understating and knowledge of Residential Hospice and a demonstrated passion for the mission.”
The Residential Hopsice of Grey Bruce – Chapman House in Owen Sound provides end-of-life care in the community with eight beds in operation.
