Those looking for a full-time career or a part time job can find potential employers at an upcoming job fair in Wiarton.
Over 25 local employers will have booths available where they can answer questions and accept resumes. Organizers say to come dressed and prepared for interviews.
The event is being hosted by VPI Inc. and New Orleans Pizza in partnership with the Wiarton and District Chamber of Commerce.
It's scheduled for Wednesday March 25th from 2 p.m to 7 p.m. at the Wiarton & District Arena and Community Centre (upstairs).
In a media release, the Chamber's Jessica Berg says, “A Job Fair is an excellent way to save time while looking for employment and creating connections in the business community, a potential job-seeker can do it all in one evening in one location.”
On the employer side, VPI Inc. is a Bruce County service provider of Employment Ontario funded programs that are sponsored in part by the Government of Canada.
They'll have information about hiring and training incentives for employers.
VPI will have Bruce County Summer Student job applications on hand for both Employers and job seekers and will accept all complete applications that day.
