Hanover Honda owner Larry Lantz has a new hat to wear.
Lantz has been named the President of the Canadian International Auto Show, which just happens to be the largest consumer show in all of Canada.
Lantz admits it is a daunting task and says work is already well underway for the 2019 show that will run February 15th to the 24th at the Toronto Convention Centre.
Lantz notes that this years show broke previous records with over 350 thousand visitors, it is his hope the 2019 show will be just as successful.
The President of the Canadian International Auto Show is not the only title Lantz has, he is also the Past President of the Trillium Automobile Dealers Association that represents almost 12 hundred new car dealerships across the Province.
Lantz says the Trillium Automobile Dealers Association does a lot of lobbying work on behalf of dealerships.
Lantz adds that while he represents all dealerships he ensures small and rural dealerships have a strong voice at the provincial level, this includes providing a small market prospective to the Association.
Lantz is also a Past President of the Motor Vehicle Dealers Compensation Fund and a Director on the Canadian Automobile Dealers Association.
Lantz says all of these provincial and national roles have allowed him to travel the world in search of new innovations and concepts that he will be applying to the upcoming Canadian International Auto Show.
