The grand opening of Moreston Heritage Village is today at Grey Roots Museum & Archives, just outside of Owen Sound.
The summer season opens today, from 11 AM to 4:30 PM.
There is just about everything to take you back to yesteryear.
Visitors can experience craft making, take in a chip carving demonstration at the Pioneer Blacksmith Shop, or check out Cedric Clarkes Rumley tractors journey through the Village.
Dual Acres will be providing horse-drawn wagon rides from 12 PM to 4 PM.
The Moreston Heritage Village lets kids experience guided tours of the 1850s Log Cabin and Blacksmith Shop, a 1920s Farm House, the Traditional Grey County Barn, the George Rice Blacksmith Shop,
Moreston will be open seven days a week until Labour Day.
Also opening today at Noon is the exhibit, Arrivals & Departures: The CPR in Grey County.
The exhibit includes a hand-built diorama of the east side of the Owen Sound harbour, circa 1910.
