If you wanted a ride on a Tall ship and missed your chance last year, you can do it this summer.
Lianas Ransom is returning to Owen Sound on Canada Day weekend, offering 90-minute excursions on Owen Sound Bay.
Tickets are available for five daily cruises on June 28th, June 29th, and July 1st, with a special Canada Day Fireworks Cruise on July 1st at 9 PM.
Additional cruises may be added on June 30th, depending on demand.
Tickets are $44 for adults, and $34 for students and seniors.
They are expected to sell out, and excursion tickets are now available in person at the Roxy Theatre Box Office, or online at www.roxytheatre.ca.
Lianas Ransom made its first visit to Owen Sound during the Tall Ships 2013 event.
The Tall ship is an 85-foot topsail schooner, based on vessels from the Golden Age of Sail.
The crew dresses in period costume similar to the outfits worn by pirates and privateers of old.
During the excursions, passengers are entertained by tales of pirate adventures, with crew members swinging on ropes over the water.
