There is a new Heart and Stroke Foundation Manager for the Owen Sound area.
Carol Potter has accepted the job.
She replaces Jason Hoffman, who has accepted a promotion to Regional Manager in Western Ontario.
One of Potter’s first jobs is to gather support for the Big Bike ride.
The 30 seat bike be in Grey Bruce beginning Monday.
Community Groups, Businesses, Church Groups, and individuals are invited to participate to raise money for research.
The goal is to raise 94 thousand dollars in Grey Bruce this year.
The Big Bike starts off in Meaford and the Blue Mountains on May 6th.
It is in Hanover May 7th, Wiarton and Port Elgin on the 8th, Owen Sound on May 9th.
The last 3 communities on the list are Markdale and Dundalk on May 10th, and Walkerton on the 27th.
