The last two weeks of summer can be a busy time for parents as they try to get their kids ready for back to school.
There’s trying to get the kids back into their routines and of course the shopping.
With just two weeks of summer vacation left, Bayshore Broadcasting News wanted to know if you’ve started buying clothes and supplies yet.
A few moms tell us they’re done.
They say they’ve already bought the pens, pencils, notebooks, lunch bags, back packs and thermoses. One mother has even purchased her three boys’ school uniforms already.
But other moms tell us they still have to get some supplies even though they started a month to two weeks ago.
And a teen we spoke to says she’s bought a few clothes and binders, but that’s it. Although she didn’t seem to be too worried that time was running out.
For most kids in our area, school starts back on Tuesday, September 7th after the Labour Day holiday Monday.
Although for students at a few Simcoe county schools, the first day of school is today, since they’re on an all-year calendar.
